Willy-O' is a pseudonymous artist and a stranger on this earth. I am a newcomer to Canada and currently reside in Vancouver, British Columbia as a guest.

 

I possess no formal artistic training.

Right now, I primarily express myself through mixed-media collage, using mostly found materials. Wandering around and collecting stuff is the core of my creative process. I create aesthetic enjoyment out of unwanted, discarded objects because I am trying to prove to you that it is possible to turn trash into treasure and bits of rubble into gold. Ultimately, I aspire to create art that affords the viewer a glimpse of eternity and direct contact with mystery, wonder, and awe.

It is also important to me to provide encouragement to others, to help them explore the structures that make life meaningful, and to reflect together on how these structures can be maintained and further developed for future generations.
